Toyota Hilux Heating System Parts
The Hilux heating system is pretty simple and straight forward. The heater in a Hilux is basically a smaller version of the radiator for the engine's cooling system. Hot engine coolant is circulated through this small radiator which is actually called a heater core. A blower (or fan) is positioned in front of the heater core to blow cold outside air over the fins. When this air is blown over the hot fins of the heater core, it too is heated up so you feel hot air blowing from the heater vents.
